Tim Biro, Managing Partner

Tim is Managing Partner of Ohio Innovation Fund and a General Partner of Reservoir Venture Partners. Tim has 16 years of venture capital experience. Tim has a strong background in the life-sciences and biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Prior to his career in venture capital, Tim worked in Operations Management at Merck & Co. Prior to Merck, Tim worked in cancer research at the Hershey Medical Center. Tim holds a BS in Microbiology from the Pennsylvania State University, a BS in Pharmacy (summa cum laude) from Temple University, and a MBA in Finance and Marketing (with distinction) from the Wharton School of Business.

Jeff Hanson, Partner

Jeff is a Partner with Ohio Innovation Fund. Prior to joining Ohio Innovation Fund, Jeff was with The Walt Disney Company in a variety of planning and operational roles. His work at Disney included leading the finance and strategic planning activities for Disney’s North American Licensing operations. Jeff also managed Disney’s merchant banking group where he negotiated and structured equity positions in the company’s strategic licensees. Prior to Disney, Jeff worked in business and strategic planning at ARCO, as a legislative assistant to a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, and as a Financial Analyst in General Electric’s financial management program. Jeff received his MBA from the Wharton School and holds a BS, with high distinction, from the University of Nebraska.
